Arbitration

There is a vast chasm separating opinions regarding the propriety of using arbitration for resolution of construction disputes. Some construction lawyers opine that using arbitration to resolve construction disputes borders on professional malpractice. Others prefer arbitration because of the ability to tailor the process to the dispute at hand. Many are concerned with the lack of recourse available to challenge the arbitrator’s ruling. Most would agree it is preferable to select arbitrators experienced with project design, construction, construction litigation, and arbitration. 

Having had the good fortune of providing engineering services to a variety of owners for fifteen years, of providing legal counseling and litigation services to owners, design professionals and contractors for twenty-four years, proving arbitration services for ten years, and clerking for a federal district judge for one year, I am ready to objectively arbitrate your dispute in a process tailored to its value and complexity.
